The heart of town is the elementary and high school which last year celebrated 100 years of educating the town children. There are two churches, two bars, a great little restaurant and a post office where you'll meet your fellow Robertsonians. It's a great place to live and learn. The community is active thanks to the Roberts Community Foundation. The RCF funds a tribute to veterans each year by lining highway 212 with crosses and flags with the names of all Carbon County veterans who have served the nation. Roberts, population around 300 on a good day, has sent more of its sons and daughters to serve in the military branches than all but one other county in the country and we love our veterans. Roberts is an affordable place to call home also! We're just 13 miles away from Red Lodge Montana and the famous Beartooth Highway that leads us to Yellowstone Park. Red Lodge is a beautiful little mountain town with great skiing and great restaurants. With a new hospital near Red Lodge, employment is available also.
